- Perform field installation support, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including PCS, Aux power load banks, fire suppression systems, thermal management systems, inverters, transformers, control systems, and protection relays.
- Conduct site inspections, functional testing, and system validation to verify design compliance and operational readiness.
- Troubleshoot electrical, control, and communication issues within BESS and associated substation or renewable energy infrastructure.
- Collaborate with design engineers, contractors, and utility representatives to ensure successful integration and grid interconnection.
- Perform thermal management troubleshooting, repairs, analysis of Liquid Cool and Air-Cool systems.
- Conduct functional testing and repairs of fire suppression systems. Including control panels, sensors and communications.
- Support Protection & Control (P&C) setup and verify correct relay logic, SCADA signals, and control sequences.
- Perform system performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis of system failures or alarms.
- Ensure adherence to industry codes, safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E), and company procedures.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test results, and field documentation for project closeout.
Assist in training and mentoring field technicians or junior engineers on BESS operations and safety practices.
